Speaking the Love Language of Quality Time

"The greatest gift you can give to a special someone is your TIME. 

It's like giving a portion of your life that you can never bring back." 

Love is about finding one's real self; when you're spending your precious time with your lover, you discover that undiscovered parts of your life. Love is being there for your other half. Love is spending quality time together.

After taking the love language test, my result was Quality Time. Indeed, I strongly agree with what has been revealed from the test. Just a simple meet up somewhere with my loved one would be already a perfect day for me, and it doesn't have to be grandiose or what; what matters most for me is just the mere presence of the person close to my heart while talking about random things, about life, about our dreams and plans, about Jesus, and just being genuinely happy together. It doesn't really mean that we must see each other everyday because we may also have our own priorities, but again, no matter how busy we are, there must be a quality time for us to spend with. It's not about quantity, but quality time.

I never had a boyfriend since then, but I can say that I have also experienced the kind of love that every couple had. During those times, I realized that spending time with him was one of the best time for me. A small talk with him really lightened up my day. Until I knew what my love language is, indeed it manifested through my expression of love and the ways of love that my other half would offer to me. So when it's God's time that I would meet the right man for me, I would really love to spend time with him as we enjoy each other's company. Above all the love languages, quality time makes me feel loved the most.

Unleashing the Seeker in Me

The Seeker is the second archetype that I got from the heroic myth index.

A seeker possess the gift or virtue of autonomy and ambition.

I was raised by my parents to become fully independent and an achiever in my academics.

Since I was a child, I was already trained to study on my own through making reviewers until now that I am already a college student. I have set my goals and by God's will and guidance, I believe that the Lord will direct my paths to where he would put me for His glory and honor.

Today is the day before the examination and as usual, I am busy preparing and writing my reviewers for the subjects tomorrow. It's easier for me to grasp or retain what I have studied if I have made my own reviewer, much more if I highlighted them. 

As a daughter and a student, it is my obligation to focus on my studies and be internally motivated to keep on striving for a better grade. I honestly do not settle for a passing grade if I know that I can do better. At the end of the day, all of my hardwork and effort will reap and will definitely lead me to success as I achieve my goals :)

My Lover Archetype

Hi there! :) It's been a long time since I updated my blog. A lot of good and great things happened for the past weeks, and now I want to share one of the best experiences that have happened.



As I took the heroic myth index, I found out that "Lover" is one of my archetypes. Possessing a lover archetype has a gift or virtue of being a passionate and committed person. I can say that I totally agree with what I have found within my self because I really value friendship. I would definitely make a way just to spend time with the people close to my heart. :)



I would like you to meet Elaine, or 'Lalai' as everyone call her. She is one of the best, trustworthy, and loving friend that I have. She knows me very well and same goes with me towards her. Aside from being friends, I used to call her 'Nak' as she calls me 'Mami' because we have a mother-daughter relationship since 1st year high school. XD (T'was a long story behind haha) and we agreed that Fridays would be our Fridate :))

So, because Friday would be a busy day for me due to exam, I decided to have it today since we have no class. We had lunch together at Jollibee Bajada, and some deep conversations would suffice our day. We talked about random stuffs, including the 'heart stuff' lol because she knows very well about it. We met at 11:30 am, and by 2:30 pm she attended her class and we agreed to meet up again at their dismissal. So while waiting, I went to school to pay my tuition and stayed at GMall afterwards.

By 4:00 pm, we met again and went to Cafe Demitasse at Torres. 

We just ordered a frappe and continued chitchatting until 6:00 pm. 

We even exchanged our books about love HAHA. 

Indeed, you could say that just a mere presence from a special person would 

really lighten up your day :) More bondings to come for us! :)

Memoirs

A GREAT DAY INDEED! :)) Thank you Lord for all the happiness in life. One of which are the following:




1. CES Activity of GuilASs :) We, the officers went to Golden Haven Retirement Homes in Calinan which is a Home for the Aged, and there we prepared something for them to make them happy somehow such as a program consisting of games, early lunch, and giving of gifts as well even if they are not with their family anymore. Nevertheless, I am really happy and even got emotional after seeing one of the nanays crying before we left and said "Salamat kaayo ha. Baliki ko ninyo usab." Hearing it from her crushed my heart and just burst myself into tears. I just hope and pray that God will strengthen their health and their families will visit them especially this Christmas :)







2. I had a long rest :) Since I woke up early for the community service, as soon as I got home I immediately went to bed and had a rest. I slept for about 2-3 hours. Yeeeey! :)







3. Rehearsal with family :) Tomorrow's our Christmas Party at church so we will offer a song as a family entitled "Hallelujah" which is a Christmas version. Good thing we have practiced together. All for God's glory! :)

Decembreak Feels :)))

Finally today's the last day of school!! Thank God for all the blessings :)






1. Last day of exam :) I really thank God for giving me the wisdom and understanding to answer the final subjects that we took earlier. Though there are some items that I really had a hard time in answering it, still I am hoping that I could get it right :) Nevertheless, it's Decembreak feels!! Yeeeeeeey! :)))







2. Christmas Presents :') Ve and Jessel gave me something before we departed. Aweeeee, that's so sweet of them! :) Thank you guys!!







3. Hangout with HS friends :) Since it's a stress-free day, we met and went to MTS to have dinner together and had a lot of chitchatting. How I missed them a lot! :*

Second Day of Examination

Well it's a good day! :) I want to thank God for all the good things He has given me. These include:

1. On time to arrive at school :) This morning, I woke up quarter to 7 am and good thing I was able to prepare myself for an hour. XD I travelled by 8 am and I arrived at school at quarter to 9. Whew that was close! Haha!

2. 2nd day of exam :) Indeed, I'm very thankful that God guided me as I took the examinations in Ab Psych and Research 1. I know that I have given the time and diligence to study hard on these subjects and I just hope and pray that I will get a high score for those :) *I claim it!*

3. Early dismissal :) We ended our exam at 4 pm and I immediately went home. I bought chips first so I could eat while traveling back home. Thank God I arrived safely :)

Last Wash Day of the Year

Heyaaaaaa! :) Today's our first day of Prelim Exam and thank God for all the blessings which are the following:





1. Thank God for the wisdom in taking the exam :) I know that I have studied well for this examination so I am confident and have trust in Him that I will pass the exam :) Yesss first day's done, 2 more to go!







2. Penong's :D After taking the first subject, we had our lunch at Penong's because there were a lot of people at McDo Sta Ana and we are already hungry. It's also Leah's birthday so she treated us 2 pitchers of Iced Tea. Yeeeey! XD







3. Last Wash Day of the Year :) Yes, since this Friday will be our last day of class/exam for this year. So, we had taken pictures together with Ninjas and of course, the Psychlebrities :D (I'm Canteen Bernardo by the way.) Wahahahaha! XD
